GENERAL INFO
Eye Clinic “Uzllova” holds this name in honor of the Russian Ophthalmologist Taisia Uzllova (Karagjozi) who worked and lived from 1954 till the last day of her life serving with dignity and in a high professional level to the Albanian people. To her honor also in the rural area a hospital in the district of Klos, Mat is named “Uzllova”.
In the early 1997 were dropped the first working steps that consisted in close cooperation and highly professional service to the Institute “Fjodorov” Eye Microsurgery in Russia.
From 1997 to 2000 the service of this Institute in collaboration with the Ministry of Health of Albania and the firm “Kalama” who represents him in Albania periodically organize examinations, treatments and operations, which have been generated up to this year only in the Moscow Institute.
In this way 350 specialized surgeons and all the personnel of this Institute have provided specific updates and unique modern technology for the Albanian people, especially in cases when the problem could not be solved in other places in Albania

During this period it has been reached the examination 11,000 patients of which up to 350 per year were being treated in Russia.
With great desire the academician, professor Fjodorov, investors and supported by the Ministry of Health of Albania it was also passed the second stage of providing services in Albania, particularly in Tirana, to come closer to aid and to make possible in perspective performing step in addition to the above services.
Uzllova eye clinic was founded in 2000. It was built 5 km near Tirana, and constantly has been enriched with latest technologies of science in order to help the Albanian patients in a contemporary level.
From 1997 we are in service to the people of Albania and the region in cooperation with the Institute of microsurgery of the eye more famously “Fjodorov” Moscow. Here is provided a unique technology to a school with modern equipment and service in the conditions of a clinic which is renewed day by day.
